We provide our customers with top quality, healthy plants and with the correct care and planting these plants should continue to stay healthy and grow in your garden as well. Once the plant leaves our garden centre on the way to its new home, it is your responsiblity to keep it alive as much as you possibly can until it is established.
We recommend being added to our customer system in case you lose your receipt. That way we can pull up your name and sales history.
If your plant is struggling, please send photos along with your name to firstname.lastname@example.org or visit us in-store.
No guarantee will be given for plants that did not survive due to:
- being planted/left in the original container
- mechanical equipment injury
- disease (fungi, blight, mildew, etc.)
- insects (japanease beetles, aphids, etc.)
- extreme climatic conditions
- drought or not watering the plant enough
- drowning or over-watering the plant
Followed all of our recommendations and your plant did not survive? After contacting an employee, please dig up the plant and bring it along with your receipt to our garden centre. After the plant is confirmed 100% dead by one of our plant experts from something other than the reasons listed above, the following guarantees apply:
Trees & Shrubs:
White tagged items have a 1 year guarantee because of their hardiness. Most of the plants in this category are either native to this area or are naturally very tough plants. No credit/replacement will be given before June 15 of the following year as to give the tree/shrub a chance to bud out and grow especially if the winter was quite harsh and/or long. The value of the plant that you paid (not planting service & delivery) will be reimbursed as a credit on your account. No refunds.
Yellow tagged items have a 3 month guarantee because those trees and shrubs are more sensitive and not as hardy in our zone. They need extra TLC and prefer protected microclimates. The value of the plant that you paid (not planting service and delivery) will be reimbursed as a credit on your account. No refunds.
Roses, Groundcovers & Vines: These plants are guaranteed for 30 days after the plant has been purchased. The value of the plant that you paid will be reimbursed as a credit on your account. No refunds.
Succulents, Tropicals, Annuals, Perennials & House Plants: These plants do not have a warranty as they are either not able to grow year round in our zone or are meant to be summer plants.
