      The Purpleleaf Cherry (Prunus cistena) is a bushy, dense, deciduous shrub with decorative, glossy, egg-shaped, dark red leaves. It also bears pink-coloured, cup-shaped flowers in May. These produce dark red fruits from July. In a sunny to semi-shady locat
